99 and Counting...

Wow. I just peeked, and Alison's Wonderland's stats on GoodReads feature 99 ratings and 31 reviews! I believe this is my most discussed collection.

The book won a mention on glo recently, when Lana Fox compiled a hot list of 8 steamy titles:

Down the Rabbit Hole

Short erotic stories are a great way to discover the authors you really enjoy, especially considering that erotic reads cater to a rich variety of tastes. In Alison's Wonderland (edited by Alison Tyler), Shanna Germain's "Fool's Gold" tells of a woman who discovers that BDSM doesn't have to be about whips, chains and being physically tied down—and it offers a beautiful, modern take on the fairy tale Rumpelstiltskin. Germain shows us that submission is all about a mindset and can be achingly intimate. It's a BDSM tale unlike any I've read before.

I am intrigued this review, too, because I want so badly to know which story is being described:

I was surprised by the writing in this book considering its genre. I enjoyed many stories, including the one that I found to be very strange and almost disturbing in a sexual sense...but so well written, I read it twice!

When Alison's Wonderland first came out, I was pretty ace at keeping a blog about the authors, reviews, and other glittering baubles of information. I'll have to get off my tuffet and update soon!

So we're at 99. Who will be #100?

XXX,
Alison
