I love the evocative, sunny atmosphere 'Booked' creates. It's easy to see every little bit of it, to smell the pages. Alison's ode to a pre digital age, of notebooks and old, sunlit pages, and phone numbers written on little bits of paper instead of programmed into iphones. It's a fuckyeahsecondhandbookstores tumblr in a story. It's a perfect, pocket sized fantasy.
