Cover me with Covers

A while back, I was eavesdropping on a Twitter conversation — like you do. Rayne Millaray was talking about the difficulties of reading smut in public. This sparked an idea for a cover contest, with entrants creating their own crafty covers to send my way. I've decided to post all of the covers without letting you know who sent in which. The judges—Rayne MillarayRiendo, and Shadowed Seductress—will each send me their favorites (1, 2, and 3), and we'll see what we come up with. Here are the covers I received for this contest. I have to say, I enjoyed this so much, I might throw the challenge out again in the future!

Before and After

I'll let the contestants reveal themselves after the winners have been chosen.

Please do run it again in the future - I meant to answer and then completely forgot. Loving the ransom note lettering.

These are awesome. While I love "This is not erotica," I also love, the "totally vanilla book," along with the added promise on the back. :)

My favorite is the book within a book. Genius idea!

Fun contest! I too love the 'This is not erotica' cover.

Rayne's choices were for:

#1 - Totally Vanilla Book
#2 - Stocking up
#3 - This is not erotica

And I believe those were the same that Riendo chose (although not in the same order).

Me being me—I have prizes for all contributors. So here we go... if you want to tell the world which cover you made, please do so. If you'd like your prize, drop me a note at msalisontyler at yahoo dot com.

I am definitely going to run this contest again — a little bit more coherently, I promise.

You all are awesome for participating and playing along with my chaotic whirlwind of a contest idea!

My covers were the hollow book and the 'This is NOT Erotica' book made with book pages.

Thanks for running this contest, Alison! It was really fun getting crafty!
